Privacy Policy

We built finvuw for professional financial review. That means we take the privacy of your financial data seriously - and we want you to understand exactly what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Effective Date: June 1, 2026  ·  Last Updated: June 13, 2026

The short version: Your uploaded files and classified output belong to you and are visible only to you. No other user can access your data. We may use aggregated financial summary data - stripped of identifying information - to power benchmarking features. Benchmark data is shown only in aggregate and is not disclosed at the individual user, property, site, operator, or file level.

Who We Are

finvuw ("finvuw," "we," "us," or "our") is a financial data processing platform designed for real estate underwriting, analysis, reporting, forecasting support, and portfolio review. finvuw is used by analysts, acquisition teams, sponsors, brokers, asset managers, operators, and other professionals who need to normalize trended financial statements. Information We Collect

We collect three categories of information:

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide (such as your name or organization). This information is used solely to authenticate you, communicate with you about your account, and deliver the service.

Uploaded Financial Data. When you upload an operating statement or T12, we receive the file content you provide. This may include financial figures, account names, and any operator-level detail present in the source file. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorization to upload any file you submit.

Usage Data. We collect standard technical and product-use information when you use the platform, which may include IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and actions taken such as file uploads, downloads, and job runs. This data is used for security, debugging, abuse prevention, service operation, and product improvement. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising trackers.

How We Use Your Data

To deliver the service. Your uploaded files are processed through our classification pipeline and converted into standardized output. Raw uploaded files are deleted immediately after processing. Output files are retained until you delete them and are accessible only to you.

To provide your job history and analysis. Processed financial summaries - subcategory-level dollar figures by month - are stored in association with your account so you can view your P&L history, run portfolio comparisons, and access prior results. This data is visible only to you and is not shared with other users.

To power platform benchmarking. We may use financial summary data from completed jobs to produce aggregated benchmark features. Benchmarking is designed to show aggregated results only, never individual user, property, site, operator, source file, or account-level disclosures. Before benchmark results are shown, identifying information is removed or excluded, and results are grouped so individual properties or users are not disclosed.

To communicate with you. We send transactional emails related to your account (job completion notifications, billing receipts, and password resets). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.

To improve the product. Aggregate, anonymized usage patterns help us understand how the platform is used and where to focus development. No individual-level financial data is used for this purpose.

// 04
Data Isolation and Access Controls

Your data is isolated by design. Every job, result, and financial summary stored on the platform is scoped to your user account. No other user - including other customers, administrators acting outside of their support role, or automated processes - can access your individual job data or output files.

Access to your data by finvuw personnel is limited to what is necessary to investigate a reported technical issue or comply with a legal obligation, and is logged.

// 05
Data Retention

// 06
Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on a small set of trusted third-party providers to operate finvuw. Each receives only the data necessary to perform their function and is contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.

// 07
Cookies and Tracking

The application uses session cookies and browser storage required for authentication and normal app operation. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising trackers.

// 08
Data Security

We take reasonable and industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), cloud-provider encryption at rest, access controls scoped to individual user accounts, and deletion of raw files after processing. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].

// 09
Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

// 10
Children's Privacy

finvuw is a professional tool intended for use by adults in a business context. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete the account.
